Following on from my Africa Circa 1960 thread, these are some pics from my Grandfathers scanned slided from places other than Africa. These first 2 are from Europe.
This first one of my Grandmother and Mother taken at Mont Blanc

NOTE:MA pointed out to me after seen this pic on Flickr some missed spots. I have since realised that these have been hightlighted by sharpening on exporting.

and this on of an interesting Water Trough in Switzerland.

My Grandfather wonders to this day how it was acheived. He suspects it was either a natural spring that came up through a growing tree or a hollow branch was put over a spring.

Very nice old pictures!

Just some months ago I worked with old pictures from my granny. I scanned them for making a photo book for her 90th birthday. I liked to look at all these old pictures.
