    Default A lake, a morning

I ducked out early this morning to a nearby lake hoping for a nice sunrise. The lake was there at least

The light was very low even with the 'sunrise' (it was more a sun-flaccid ) and I struggled with the shadow noise but eventually managed these.

Ihate when the sun doesn't do what you want it to do!!! I much prefer the second for the reason that the sticks don't do much for me. Love the reflection.

With this lighting do you find you get fringing after you do your hdr processing? I always get it..

Yeh I do get some fringing as well Kat. HDR Merge has many drawbacks.

Very peaceful MA. Especially after being stuck in traffic for ever. I agree with Kat. I like the pure symmetry of the second photo.

Cheers EJC. Looks like the 2nd photo may be more appealing.

I like them both. the sticks I could do without but I like the rocks in the first one.

nothing worse then a flaccid sun.
