Just playing around with some more smoke art and decided to try out the stroboscopic feature on my sb80dx strobes. Turned out kind of neat.

That's so cool! How did you create the colored smoke?

I've sold several photos that used the stroboscopic feature on my flash.

    Nice shot by the way.

Kurt - a few different adjustment layers in ps using the colorize feature
MA - thanks. Sorry the title was supposed to have quotations around useless. I was trying sarcasm online. Never works LOL. I like that feature alot for interesting effects. Never thought of it for smoke before

It certainly worked well for you.

I used it for shooting mountain bike racing at night and found I sold quite a few photos as people liked seeing themselves about 5 times in the one shot.

cool shot! You can try adding a gel as well to change the smoke's primary colour.
