Bottle Tree Silhouette
Another shot taken with my point and shoot while on the road this week. I'm not totally happy with the power poles, but I wanted to get the colour in the frame. I like these trees(so called because of their bottle shaped trunk Brachychiton rupestris - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), and there are some spectacular specimens in this area.

Darn civilization! I like the tones. Blue and gold just complement so well. never heard of bottle trees before, so thanks for that, too.

AntZ...you caught the tree and the colours so beautifully, the power lines are harder to notice...at least IMO.

I like the power lines; they definitely give the tree a sense of scale.
