    Default More tide pool reflections

yeah, yeah...I spent a lot of time here relatively speaking. The darn thing was just so photogenic and the light was great and the sky was lovely so, what's a poor photographer to do?

This one looks out to sea and features more beach boulders in the foreground.

This one takes in more of the rocky shore than others, but still manages to get a bit of sky and lots of reflection.

A polarizer and 4-stop graduated ND filter were used and without them (and those oh so helpful clouds blotting out the harshest light) these would not have turned out at all. Enjoy. Comments welcome as usual.

the shore does slope up rather a lot there and the lens is rather wide so things can look wonky, but I used my in-camera spirit level, so things shouldn't be too bad. I hate tilty horizons. : )

One more...I really like this one for the ultra blue reflection. Shot w/a 2 stop graduated ND which wasn't enough (meter was on the border) so I had to move the lens angle down which caught the reflection so vividly.

    I'll stop now.

    Maybe.

Well unless the sea in the left corner is sloping in sympathy that 2nd shot if definitely sloped. It's my pick here though.
