This is what I was after when I was splayed out on the ground in the other post...the reminded me of stained glass with the backlighting.
Blew out some snow in the BG unfortunately...

You should try burning in those slightly under-exposed sections that the flare caused.

Will do MA...thanks...didn't quite know what to make of that or how to tackle it.
Thanks for the tip! Should I also try burning the snow as well?

I don't know if you're going to start lighting things on fire I'm not hanging around.

That snow is waaaay beyond burning in Casil. But I wouln't worry about it. In this case it helps to emphasize the brightness of the light causing the effect on the leaf.

I like this shot. I might crop out the top of the photo with the snow in it. It may seem counter intuitive to crop out the top of the leaf, but I think it is a stronger image with it left out. If you crop enough of the leaf out intentionally I dont think it takes away from the composition at all. Just my .02. Regardless this is a great shot, I can see why you would have gone out of your way for this.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
