I like this one JJJ...it has a really cool desolate feel to it.
Still that lensbaby effect is not good for the dizziness I'm still having these days...seems to really affect me. I wish it would go away so I can appreciate it more.

Hi Lisa. Hope your dizziness goes away. That cannot be a nice feeling!
This beach is called Highland Glen and is so beautiful. I seldom see a soul here and I enjoy it that way. Take care Lisa

I like this one, too, with all the tones of brown and the gulls wheeling in the air. Did you build the platform, or was it sitting there, waiting for you to discover it?

QuietOne thanks and it was just waiting there for me to discover! The gulls by the way were free "bird brushes" on the web. I just cannot remember the author - jimmy

Hey thanks Bambi. I just received my new Lensbaby and was trying it out. This is the Nikon mount version and it works different on a full frame camera. On the 40D with its APS size sensor, I could shoot at F2 and get a nice blur. I learned today I have to shoot at F8 on the D700 to get a similar effect! O well I still love my Lensbaby - jimmy

Cool comp and pp JJJ - I'm waiting for it to burst into flames and see a bunch of Druids chanting around it.

Thanks ed. It was very creepy looking when I happened upon this wooden hut frame on that cold March day!
