Easy to see what caught your eye here. Love the starkness of the orange against the darkness of the pavement.

thanks...between worm rescues there was this. : ) I'm seriously considering an E-1 which is weatherproof, old and affordable. Has an original Kodak sensor and puts out some mean Jpegs I'm told. I could go out & play all day in the rain with one of those.

I use a storm jacket in the rain.
The biggest issue I have with rain is it getting on the lens. I usually put the wide angle away and use the 24-70mm instead because the lens hood is so much longer

Yeh my 24-70 can handle plenty of water on it but it's the droplets on the front element/filter that are a pain.

Oh, yes, the stop and back up two steps. Most of the time, I manage not to run into anyone. I like leaves, and I like the color on this one.

Love the contrast between the bright orange and asphalt. The numerous fissures in asphalt also add to it, for sure.

Good eye. I was walking with my wife the other day and did one of those hold up I gotta shoot this. She's like, "What? A bunch of twigs?" - she doesn't get it

Nicely done job. I like how this one turned out.
