    Default Dinosaur Provincial Park

Well, here is my first contribution to this forum. Greg and I had a great time weathering the winds on Monday, and stomping around the Park. Here are some results from this outing.

Hey Matt K and welcome to the forum!!

This is a nice set; I favour shot 2 here - way cool rocks.

Just as an FYI, if you want really good feedback/critiques you should post in the critique forum. We always restrain ourselves with comments unless the image is posted in critique forum OR you mention that comments are appreciated in the post.

    Welcome again!

Thanks all ... I have yet to learn a lot .. especially how to make an image look good in low res. I am sure Greg will know the answer to this. Anyway, feel free to critique any of the images .. I am not shy, and how else is a guy going to learn?

Hi Matt...I'm glad you joined us....even though we have met a few times while out with Greg.
Looks like you boys had fun on Monday and I can't believe you were at Greg's at 6:30am! LOL!
I'm digging the first shot the best I love all the different horizontal lines in the shot.Seeing as you are okay with feedback, here is my thoughts.
Some of the others seem a smidge overexposed...IMHO. I think lowering the exposure in post might bring up more detail in the sky and the rocks.
Either way, again welcome and hope we can go out shooting again.

I do have problems with converting the images to a lower resolution. They look fine on my monitor, and the histogram shows them right where they are supposed to be ... however, I do tend to agree that a little more 'black' goes a long way at times.

Tahnks again for the warm welcome, and I will see if I can contribute some more in the near future ...
