    Default spider- Bambi gets brave

so I'm walking the beach and I see movement under my feet. There are literally hundreds of these little black spiders running among the rocks. I know enough to know that if I see hundreds, then there are thousands.
Do I run screaming leaving the dogs to fend for themselves? Nope.
I don't even walk away briskly!
Nope. Instead, I grab my camera and think that if I stay really still they will come back out. And they do. I must be becoming a photographer.......

of course, now that I look at the photo I feel itchy.

Hehehehe... you sound like my wife although she would have run screaming and left the dogs to fend for themselves.

    thanks guys.

Ed I will not get closer, those black ones are fast! what if he/she jumped at me? However, if I get telephoto lens I will get closer while staying farther away.

and Iggy- don't tell your wife about these in case you make it to green bay!

Maybe you can teach one of my coworkers. She gets freaky about spiders. As in knocks her chair over, and I wonder if one day she's going to put a hole in the wall from killing one. I came in one morning, and another coworker was standing over her keyboard with canned air and a pair of tweezers. He said, "I think this might be a leg" as he fishes something out. She's standing there with a shoe in her hand, just in case. Keep in mind, the spider had to be small enough to get under the keys of the keyboard!
