    Default In the air tonight (YYC Calgary)



    Airplane taking off from Calgary Airport, Rocky Mountains below. This was a few months ago, it was minus 15°C or something. I never saw the birds in the left top corner until I edited it just now.

    Very cool shot! Would have loved to see just a little more mountain but the colour palette here just carries this shot.

    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    The height of the plane, plus the clipped mountain as MA pointed out makes the composition here just a bit unusual... that said, it's a very striking shot with an excellent colour palette, and i like it

    Thanks for the comments guys (and girls)! I agree on the 'more mountains would have been better', but the city/highway/power lines were in the way Guess I could go searching for a better viewpoint...
