Rainy day grass

This is a discussion on Rainy day grass within the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; I think I like the angle on the 2nd one better than the 3rd. But it's close....

Exposure looks good, focus is fine and dandy but I'm just not into these ones for some reason... maybe it's just me but I don't find anything compelling about them. Out of the three I would lean towards #1 though as it feels more natural.

They were all laying parallel to the ground. I think something had been laying on them. I got wet elbows and knees getting these, but oddly enough no mud. I'll take the technical as progress, since I can sometimes be hit or miss on that.
