    Default Pastry flowers?

They look like something that should have the corners of the "petals" brought together and pinched around the filling. It does have the look of the petals are really different colored leaves, and the center is the actual flower cluster. When they're in full bloom, those leaves will be a pale, pale yellow. Don't know if I'll be able to capture that or not.

Interesting looking flowers. They look like great candidates for lots of closeup work.

Thanks, Bambi. They cover the tree at the peak of their season. Something to go back to in a couple of weeks.

Hmm, at that point I'll be trying manual focus, because that was as close as I could get with autofocus. Haven't seriously tried it yet. I have astigmatisms in both eyes, so I'm not sure how well it's going to work. I may soon find out.
