    No, I think I do a much better "drowned rat" look than "human Popsicle". I like the trees. They look like they're huddling together for warmth.

    The second photo is wonderful IMO, the train seeming to go on forever, the snow on the ground with a bit of green grass showing through, and the fence in near parallel with the train. Very "Spring in Alberta". Excellent. Mike

    The last photo is awesome! It reminds me of those old WWI era photos of Russia you see.

    well I'm very glad I don't live there. : P New England is bad enough.
    The first one illustrates the wind's effect really well....all that snow only on one side of the trees. Well done. Bleak without seeming hopeless.

    The good thing about nasty weather....it makes me want to shoot something... Thing usually look better in this kind of light. Thanks for the comments everyone Gale
