Cool. So it rained and the droplets on the leaf haven't dried yet? Is that what happened here?

Pretty much. The pattern last week was to rain all night and into the early morning, be partly cloudy with a fooler amount of blue sky into late morning, rain again, stop raining just enough for my lunch walk (I have a very late lunch because I work an odd set of hours) and start raining again after I get back. Thunderstorms twice, one with lightening breaking parallel to the horizon, cat drowning rain the rest of the time. It's been a very wet spring for us, and the opening of the river float season is going to be seriously delayed. No time to clean some of the snags out yet.
