My Kelby Photowalk last Saturday

This is a discussion on My Kelby Photowalk last Saturday within the Street - Urban Photography forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; I'll post a few every day. As JAS has pointed out, there was coincidentally a Zombie Walk in the same ...

Default My Kelby Photowalk last Saturday

I'll post a few every day. As JAS has pointed out, there was coincidentally a Zombie Walk in the same location, same time, as the photowalk. Who could resist?

    1. A certain Calgary photographer almost gets hit by a car. Safety third.

    2. How cute. She was very nice when I approached her for permission to shoot her and the child. Gave her my card so she could send me her email for the photos.

3.The DJ at the Zombie Parade. I like his jacket.

    4. My favourite zombie. Nice hair, right?

Default Group II: caution for zombies.

    1. Perhaps not a zombie. There was a lot of construction in the area.

2.Two zombies. Gotta love the red color palette and the death stares.

    3. Not zombies either? Shoppers surprise. I really like her scarf. I think this is my winner, the one I'll submit to the contest.

    4. Freshly dead

A very fun set Mike! I don't know why that motorist thought she could drive there in the middle of a photo walk slash zombie walk slash construction zone gosh darn it! The shopping ladies expression was priceless for sure! It was way cool to have the intermingle of the zombie/construction workers/the slightly insane and the regular folks all intermingled together. The construction down 17th avenue sort of caused a sort of convergence. All are nice shots with expressive characters for sure, Mike!

I have to say in the majority of these, you've captured some genuine emotion and it works extremely well.
Super-set and I agree with your winner, or Tender Dj Pill-Jacket.

Default A few more zombies. Maybe overkill..

    Thanks for the comments.

    1. Zombies on break

    2. Serious business

    3. Juice. I liked the OOF clown zombie in the background here. Being a zombie makes people want to look directly at the camera.

    4. Cleancut, well dressed zombie
