signature pictures?

I'm a noob so I don't know if this has been talked about before. I have just noticed the absense of signature pictures in the forum.

I find signatures are a great way to get to know the people behind the user name. I do think it's really important to have limits or else you end up with someone posting huge flashing gif that drives others crazy.

there is often an option to turn them off for people who don't like them.

I think something simple, like a favorite picture, link to your website, & name would be nice.

so it hasn't been decided against? i know some forums do not allow signature pictures.

on the top left hand side of the page, along the blue header, if you click on "user cp" you can adjust your control panel options to include a signature. you can add a link, a quote, personal or business names, etc. photos and gifs are not uploadable on them though.

i just wanted to make sure it was alright to add a picture. I'm pretty sure you can just insert the IMG code off photobucket. this forum is set up a lot like another i use.

I'll try some things. let me know if you don't like it. I'm new here & I don't want to mess things up

OK, i understand now why there are not signature pictures. you can not insert the IMG code. I think the option is turned off.
