Don't annoy this pelican

This is a discussion on Don't annoy this pelican within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; this is a terrific set. I once got that look from a goose. Right before he pecked my lens.......

Thank you, Bambi. Yup, geese are belligerent, and they usually don't need a reason. Also, they are too greasy. Rich

Thanks, Runmonty. Number four is the one which added a bit of pucker to the photographer. Rich

What a great set. Number 4 is my favourite shot from this set. Well done!

Thank you, Iguanasan. Around number four, I was thinking about bailing. The mud was too deep for a quick exit, otherwise I might have. Rich

Wow. That guy really does doesn't like his picture being taken.
Love the progression of shots. Really tells the story. Number 4 for me as well.

Thank you, asnow. The progression of shots was 15 shots taken in 21 seconds. I picked 7 to post, but the forum would only let me post 5 in one post. I've learned how to get around that now. Too bad I couldn't have posted the progression I wanted as he made some other maneuvers which were part of the story. I'm glad you like them as I ate a lot of mud to get them. Rich

You interrupted lunch. Of course he was cranky. Nice series of action shots.

Thank you, QuietOne. I am a disrupting influence, but I got the pix. That may be the death of me someday, but not from a pelican. Rich
