    Wink Find a new forum...

I'll have to find a new forum to post my pictures on. My level of mediocrity will only detract from Michaelaw's wonderful photos. :(

Thanks guys...I think the success of my shots really comes from using a 70-300mm lens and just maybe the Zuiko shines here. Since I started shooting I've always loved the telephoto lens because you can almost fill a frame with the subject while still being stealthy. The other thing my shots have going for them is the in body OIS which really helps when you're shooting at 300mm And Lovin...I just came home from a gig at an art gallery where the photographer was shooting at 5000 ISO and above, no flash, with a Nikon d700 with zero noise and not using a flash...Felt a bit woozy right there.

For me, at my level E3 or E30 with 12-60mm SWD, 70-300 ED or the 50-200 f/2.8 probably would be enough.
I don't think that 70-300 will be same sharp on my E500, because of the sensor. But I hope that this summer I'll have my new E30 (or E3).
And yes, Zuiko lens are one of the best.

Indeed, D700 is amazing, and D3 or D3X is ... can't find the words

But, let's not forget the hand and the eye who handle the camera
    Great job !

I think there’s more to it than just the equipment, Michaelaw. For some reason I suspect that an old adage most often applied to a very successful individual in the field of auto racing rings true in regards to your talent as well.

It goes something like this: “He can take his and beat yours, or he can take yours and beat his".
