He was chased off his turf by some guy in a 4x4 truck only to run headlong into some wanker with a camera...He was having a bad day to be sure

    Thanks Owl

It's the season for them - saw one run into a pile of rocks last week. Adaptable critters, aren't they?

I love these animals and am always really happy for the encounter. This one I've seen off and on for the last three years. Don't know if they all behave this way but this one will truck along, stop, check you out, truck a bit more, stop, rinse and repeat so you get a few moments of "stop, check you out" to get some good shots of them. If they're adaptable, it has something to do with their "stop, check it out" attitude

Beauty capture for sure. Nice of him to stop and "pose" for you along the way.
(Actually, they have very poor eyesight so they will stop and listen/smell their surroundings quite frequently, before travelling along again.)
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
