    Default Stormy Seas

For some reason the images from Flickr aren't showing as sharp as they used to here. Can't be sure if it's a Flickr thing because they changed some things recently or it's the site upgrade.

Very cool shot. Am I right thinking that you waited with an open camera shutter for the lightning to strike so the lightning could act as a flash to expose the boats? I agree that your Flickr version looks sharper and slightly larger than here, and I noticed that generally the forum seems to be compressing images, even ones linked from elsewhere. Mike

It would have been cool if that's how I did it but the honest truth is this was just a bland shot of the boats against a featureless sky. So I took a lightning shot I took years back and that's the result.
