Ok...Ok. Yeah, I would like to have seen the entire prop also, but I can never be sure if something prevented showing what I would like to have seen.
The only other thing I would have worked on would be to have removed the orange cast on the planes. Simple enough to do and it would improve the image even if it was what Lovin saw when the image was captured.

All of that aside, I just want to say again that I really like the shot.

Hmmm... I like the warm, morning light. I think it sets the mood for the image. What I think might have made an already strong image better was a shooting position a little further to your right to include more of the front of the first aircraft and bringing them into more of a line.

    Thank you all !
I can't go further to the right, cause I have to swim
Is the end of dock and my camera is not splash proof
I've taken the picture at sunset, Vancouver Downtown-waterfront.

I'll try a better angle, or more angles today.

    Cheers !

Ok, I found a different picture in my library, and did a quick edit.

Compositionally speaking, this is a better image. All of the right wing and prop in the frame as well as the flag blowing in the wind.

I lost lots of information on export for web.
The contrast, details in black are better on original.

I agree with BF regarding the last shot. It is much better. Perhaps get them to park the Beavers at the front next time because radial engines are so much prettier

    cheers

I like the 2nd shot much better also. Much more interest within the photo including the flag, the cool sky, more mountain and water.
