Well okay, but you have to understand - there's but 2 seasons in photography for Canadians. Boring season and Picture Taking season. The cycle is 6 months long, it's like this. We have the rebirth of life season, some call it spring but really it's 10,000 exposures followed by a somewhat boring yet pleasant post processing season interspersed with pleasant outdoor photo's of beautiful greeneries & mature flowers. Next comes the Death of Flora season, a beautiful time of year that greats the eye with head smacking colours so brilliant that they're nearly impossible to miss. Then lastly comes heavy post processing season. This is when the 10000 spring photo's & 7000 fall photos are dealt with. It is also interspersed with challenging photo opportunities that all the color technology given to us by god won't help. The damned photos still come out black & friggin' white. I'm almost positive it's the real motive that Lee, Cokin & Singh Ray have for creating "color correcting" filters. After all, if there isn't any color we must need to add some.

So, there you have it. My interpretation of the seasons. Canadian POV of course!

I might need to be more obvious here

People ... I was just teasing.

I was born in New Zealand ... a cold land with snow and stuff AND Spring and Autumn! I've been back there on several ocassions ... it's still the same

I totally get (well ... maybe not totally ... Canada is a lot colder than NZ) the drab confines of winter you suffer once the initial excitement of the first snow falls fades away. I know all the grass dies underneath the white blanket and know how spring blooms are nothing short of a god-send. I understand. I do. I always did.

Thanks, casil. I have my daffy shots at home that I got on Monday too. My laptop is in the shop and the desktop I'm using is painfully slow so I haven't had a chance to review everything yet. I expect I'll be flowering up the board again in a day or so.
