Hi... and Podcasts

Hi Marko and all. I've just discovered the photography.ca podcast and website, and love it! I started listening to the podcast at #50 and... my head is still spinning from that one! Great, great choice of topics so far - these are exactly the types of things I'd like to learn more about, and hear you speak on! I'd like to download the early podcasts to learn more in-depth information on these topics. The early episodes seems especially critical because they deal with many of the 'fundamentals'. But, unfortunately, they are not available on iTunes (iTunes only has #43 and upward). Do you know how/where I can download the podcasts? I know transcripts are available, but if there's any way I can download the early ones to my iPod, that would be ideal. Thanks very much!

P.S. I'm not technically a digital SLR user - but still benefit greatly from your podcast! I prefer to be a little less intrusive in my photography (and do more 'capture the moment' photography vs 'posed/staged' photos). I have (and love) my Canon G10 compact. My hope is to someday own a Leica M9 (too costly for me now). The Olympus Pen looks interesting - any opinion? Thanks again!

Hey Thanks for that Mars Observer!!

The Itunes feed was just fixed so it now shows the last 30 shows. It used to show all shows...but the feed is now too big.

To download the old shows there's 2 ways. Here's a link to all the podcasts and you can download the ones you are interested in 1 by 1 http://www.photography.ca/blog/?cat=2

OR I HAVE ALL THE PODCASTS ZIPPED IN 3 LARGE FILES of about 300 megs each. If you have an FTP program, I could give you access. If this is the case, please just PM me and it's more than my pleasure!.

Photography.ca 'The Complete Collection' is 'a must have' for any amateur enthusiast IMHO... certainly for me at least. :-)

I don't have FTP, but have started downloading them. Thanks again!!!

Nope! - More like FileZilla or CuteFTP or WSFTP.

Marko, maybe, if you don't mind and if the files are under 300MB (299 for instance) then think about Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem! It's easier for most people to use and you can offload the bandwidth to someone else.

I didn't realize there were podcasts too! I've got a 45 minute drive to work everyday, I'm definitely going to check these out!
