Default Greetings and Salutations from Ottawa, Canada

Greetings All. Name is Gerry and while I've been "playing" for a few years I am now starting to take this hobby a little more seriously. I listened to the podcasts available from i-Tunes and I am looking forward to future broadcasts.

One question - I wanted to comment on the BUYING A DSLR and Marko keeps saying to post on the blog post but I must be missing something 'cause I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

    Cheers

Welcome, Gerry. Try clicking on the blog entry's title. That appears to bring up a comment box at the bottom of the entry. If that doesn't do it, maybe someone else can help.

Hi and welcome to photography.ca! I hope you enjoy yourself here. I'm very interested to see some of your images.

I'm going to agree with what they said but I'll add in the links to make it a tad more direct. Going to the page with that podcast on it you are here: Photography Podcast, Photography Blog: Photography.ca and you'll find the podcast about halfway down the page.

However, to leave comments you want to click on the title of the podcast which gets you to this page: 75 – How to buy your first DSLR and at the bottom you can leave your comments.

Marko - No Problem - I knew I'd seen the comment section - just couldn't remember where and how I got there - and like I said - I clicked everything but the blog title.

All I really wanted to mention was watch, in Canon world, the EF-S vs EF lenses - stick with EF as you will be able to use most, if not all, these lenses on full frame cameras if you decide to upgrade. Little bit better glass, too, from what I've read.

Then I saw Jacklabel's comment re: G11 which I agree with.
