    Default Photo assignment - May 08 - Around the House

    The first photo assignment is "around the house" This covers a considerable range from macros to textures, pets, kids, furniture, sculptures, art, renovating, cleaning, flowers, etc.

    Personally, I think we can submit multiple times if we feel ambitious...but maybe it's best to post only one image per post. Thx!

    my out of focus mouse... lots of things wrong with this picture... lol
    yup the mouse and the rest of the photo are out of focus...and there is a serious hot spot on the desk.

    Just curious? why didn't you try to at least get the mouse in focus?

    this was one of my first shots with my camera...

    didn't realize how bad it was until i linked it.. lol. I actually haven't looked at my first set of pics closely as i'm trying very much to learn how to take better pictures.

    Default Dog and Leaf

    The dog was drinking from a puddle in the back yard when she noticed the falling leaf..

    Being in the midst of moving, this could other fantastic as an opportunity or a complete nightmare for others to see...

    wow.. that leaf is so crisp.. lol... i don't know if it takes away from the picture though.

    In other words, i want to see the dog, but the focus on the leaf keeps ripping my eyes away from it.. lol
