Downloading NIK HDR Efex demo right now.

Tried the Photomatix plugin for PS and I'm unimpressed.

No wait ... it was PS HDR Pro option direct from LR that I tried.

The Photomatix plugin for PS works well but seems to be only for single photos ... not a bracketed set. In this way it works a bit like Topaz Adjust.

Scratch that ... worked it out ... you just set the bracketed photos up as layers first then apply the filter/plugin.

Very impressed with the NIK HDR Efex software ... high quality and professional interface with loads of options.

Anyone know how to import RAW files in though? I keep having to convert to jpg to get them in there.

I do agree with asnow..... I had also heard some good things about the software......
HDR Efex Pro is the new standard for creating realistic to artistic HDR images with a revolutionary new all-in-one workflow. HDR Efex Pro includes many one-click visual presets, advanced tone mapping algorithms, powerful HDR controls, and patented U Point technology.
