In answer to your question MA... No, Our lawns are flower free! no Dandelions, daises or any other flower is allowed to mingle on the lawn. It must be a solid sheet of green from end to end. We're organized in that way, flowers know their place!

It's the same here too ... although a few weeds tend to get in due to the dry spells that last ... oh ... years!

Here they do plant the crocuses (seems like it should be croci

) on the lawn. by the time you need to mow they are usually finished. I love seeing a lawn flower scattered through it. Hubby has other ideas but we move out the country there will be no more trying to keep everything but grass out of the lawn!
